Part of my plan to make these changes to my diet into a permanent, ongoing 'thing that I do' is to reward myself for reaching various milestones. For instance, if I can keep cooking and eating the way I want to for, say, six months, I have my eye on a new set of cookware. If I can get some serious weight loss going, there's always the prospect of buying new, smaller clothes. I have a couple of goals in mind and the accompanying rewards that I'm keeping quiet about for now. But I've had this song stuck in my head all week, and even though the first seven days of this project have been easy-peasy, my first week's reward is to go download it from iTunes. Punk rawk!
