I overslept a little bit on Tuesday morning, so I grabbed a Clif bar for breakfast before going to the gym. I've been trying to avoid eating the processed and the packaged, but I didn't have time to make and eat a sandwich. The gym was really good; I am so impressed with how much more I can do, and how much easier everything is. And it's only been a couple of weeks! Go, self.
Post-gym breakfast was oatmeal and leftover fruit, lunch was leftover taco fixings, afternoon snack was even yet still more fruit and string cheese. Dinner was grilled-cheese-tomato-bacon sandwiches and homemade butternut squash soup. I also put together a quick salad of romaine, cucumber, tomato and carrot and squeezed a lemon over the top for dressing. I must admit I am hitting a wall with salad- I ate the whole plate, and appreciated its goodness, but it was really mechanical. Scoop salad into mouth, chew chew chew, swallow, repeat until plate is clean. I'm not really enjoying salad these days, is what I think I'm getting at.
